Autobiography of Eddie and the Starlites

The group was first formed in 1957, and their first recording was in 1958; the song was called "To Make A Long Story Short" which was one of the top 10 songs on the charts of Billboard Magazine.
The group was managed and produced by Al Brown, Florence Greenberg and Jocko Henderson of WADO Radio Station. The group has made a lot of appearances at Brooklyn Fox Theatre, produced by Allen Freed. They also appeared at Brooklyn Paramount Theatre, the Majestic Theatre in Pennsylvania, the Howard Theatre in Washington, DC, and the Uptown Theatre in Pennsylvania. They have made numerous tours arounds the country. Members of the Starlites are: Richard Moore, who originally sang with The Persuasions, Bill Mathews, who sang with Keeping the Pace, and Raymond Saunders from The Paragons, who made a record called "Florence."
Bill Mathews arranges and produces for the group.
The group were working in the studio on a new CD, as well as in numerous shows around Brooklyn and Manhattan, New York.

Simply Magic a/k/a Eddie and the Starlites have appeared on Showtime at The Apollo with Steve Hervey, in The Great Adventures with The Chantels, with The Paragons and The Ronnie I Do Wop Shop, and on The Art Larne TV Show.
They have opened for notable groups including The Drifters and Ray Goodman and Brown.
Simply Magic recently released their new CD, To Make A Long Story Short.
